In addition, the twenty-first century energy efficiencies we enjoy are difficult to top and not easily found together. As a result of our renewable energy investments, we enjoy dramatically lower monthly electricity bills, our total electricity costs in 2020 were about $650. However, the best part of living here is the privacy and sense of peace and security on the property. The location is also very attractive to us because we are close to major cities and employment centers, but not too close. We like to think of ourselves as centrally isolated.
